I have been super stressed out about my blog lately.
This is me:
Okay… I’m not really that stressed… and I don’t want you to leave, but I thought it was a funny cartoon. :)
As most of you know, I moved from Blogger ( a free blogspot address) to a self hosted WordPress site mid October. I am super happy to have my own space and have full control over it. However, I still don’t have FULL control, because I don’t know all there is to know about WordPress, plus, I am not an html master!
Anyway, the move isn’t really what has stressed me out, that was just a side note. What has been stressing me out is not writing more posts like this one. Just off the cuff, personal ones. And not writing more ‘natural’ posts. I mean, my goodness, the blog is called Some Call It Natural, right!?
Easy fix, right? Just sit down and write.
Um, yeah… easier said than done. I have had A LOT of review posts to write over the last couple of months. Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful for them. They are all great products that I got to try out (or my kids got to try out), just so I could tell you all about them. And I know some of you discovered some things you had never heard of because of those posts, so that makes me happy.
The problem is, I have had so many review posts that I haven’t had the time to do any other kind of posts (or very few of them). Of course, I say I don’t have the time, but then I see other bloggers punch out 3 reviews a day AND still does personal posts too! I don’t know how you guys do it! I just can’t. During the day, I am home with the kids and even if we aren’t doing school at that very moment, I have a hard time sitting down to write a post. And then at night, hubby and I like to sit down and watch t.v. together. We like this time together and I try not to write posts while we hang out.
I just need to get more organized, I think. This isn’t supposed to be stressful, it’s supposed to be fun!
Now that I’m almost done with the review obligations for the time being, I will be able to write some more personal or natural minded posts. I already have one planned for tomorrow to help you all get on a healthy track for the new year!
So, what do you want to hear more about? What kind of ‘natural’ posts would like?

I’m in the same boat. Well, kind of. Struggling with depression has made it hard to just ‘sit down and write’ because a lot of the time I don’t feel like anything is worth my time to write. And I hate that.
I hope 2012 brings the fun-blogging back for both of us and we can find some balance. xo

Me too (to 2012 bringing the fun back to blogging!)!!! I’m so sorry that you struggle with depression. Sit down and write whatever is in your head. If it turns into a post, fine, if not, maybe it will make you feel better!?

I am sorry that you struggle with this. I usually find writing, helps relay some of my feelings. I hope you have a great 2012

I know exactly how you feel! I was so overwhelmed with review posts of the past couple of months…and I miss writing personal stuff. That is my goal for the new year though!
It will come to you :)
