My favorite Father’s Day memory is also when I told my husband was he was going to be a dad. It started with the traditional breakfast in bed with card and newspaper. In the card was a short sentence saying congratulations your going to be a father LOL. He was floored!

I just remember going out to lunch, or hanging out on Father’s Day. My Dad is great, so it’s nice to say thanks.

My fondest Father’s Day memory is of the last Father’s Day with my grandpa. I remember my dad and my grandpa opening Father’s Day gifts at the breakfast table. I think that might have been the only time he was visiting us during Father’s Day.

My fondest father’s day is the first father’s day my husband became a dad. He was adopted into a very abusive family and taken away-almost dead at age 11. Then became a ward of the state and got shuffled around. All he EVER wanted was his own family!!!!!!! I was so honored to be able to give that to him. Now, 15 years later, he is still the kindest, most gentlest, loving man you could ever meet! We have 5 kids and he makes every single one of them feel so special, and never forgets me and my feelings as well. He deserves so much. :) I’m so proud of who he is regardless, and in spite of his harsh up bringing!

My Dad just passed away a few years ago so my memories are both painful & happy. My fondest is having spent Father’s Day with my Dad in New Orleans. I’m so happy to have had that time with him.

My fondest Father’s Day memory is making a frozen peanut butter pie with Tabitha who was 1 (she is now 5) and having her put her hand prints in it. Gotta do that again.

I don’t have many memories of my Dad since he died when I was in the second grade. They are so vague. I know I have tried to make Fathers day special for my husband since his first and his father who has passed now.

Well, I grew up without one… BUT the most fond Father’s Day memory I have is that of my husband’s very first Father’s Day with our (almost) 3yr old son. We took him to the beach & had a calm & special day flying a kite & playing around on the beach :) One of my favorite photos EVER of my husband & son is from that trip. I had it blown up into a canvas wall photo :)

One of my best memories is me, my brothers & sisters fixing Daddy breakfast in bed.
