We have managed to save enough money to go on a cruise with family this year. My parents, my brother and his wife, and an aunt (and of course my husband and 3 kids) are all going! We are excited! We have been on one other cruise and it was when my 8 year old was in my belly. We have been one other family vacation since then.
We’ve all traveled. My husband goes away with his brothers every year. I go places every year with my parents and the kids. But for ALL of us to be able to go, that means closing down the office for the time we are gone and it just gets hard at that point. Well, in September, our office will be closed for a whole week while we are cruising the Caribbean!
We weren’t really sure if we would be able to do it. Save the money that is… but we did! Well, at least we saved the money for the actual cruise. We still have to save more moulah for the drive down to the port, hotel the night before the cruise departs, gas, and any extra curricular activities we may do while at our ports.
So, how do we save enough for all that??? We can do it, we just have to be diligent and say no to ourselves when we want something that we really don’t need. And saying no to the kids too. Sometimes it is super hard though!!!
If I were into online gambling and from the UK (details…), I could make some money on a site like Cheekybingo!
Alas, I do not gamble online, nor am I from the UK. Oh well, I guess I will have to earn money the old fashioned way… by blogging! ;)
So jealous about your cruise! My hubby still hasn’t been on one, and I know he’s going to love it, can’t wait until we can manage it!
