Maybe you’ve already heard of this and maybe you’ve already even tried it at your house, but just in case you haven’t… here it is!
Taco Wraps are a healthier version of tacos with the corn shell. Let’s face it, the corn shell makes the meal pretty unhealthy!
For the wraps, you just substitute the shell for some romaine lettuce leaves. That’s it. Everything else is the same.
So, what will you need?
- Ground beef cooked with chili powder
- Romaine lettuce leaves
The rest of these ingredients are all ‘optional’. Whatever you like on your tacos is fine. Here are some ideas to get you started.
- diced tomatoes
- diced onions
- shredded cheese
- sour cream
- guacamole (or just plain avocado slices)
- other fresh veggies, like green or red peppers, fresh squash, green onions, etc.
That’s it! Fill your lettuce leaves with what you would like in your taco and eat up!
Warning! You WILL make a mess while eating this!
