If fruit salad seems overwhelming to you because you don’t know what fruits to put in it or you don’t know what else to mix in… I am here to ease your mind!
Of course, you can make a simple fruit salad by just throwing a bunch of fruit in a bowl and mixing it up. And it will definitely taste good!
BUT… if you want it to be a bit more of a ‘treat’ or a dessert, then you will want to read this post! :)
Okay. This is super easy and I’m not going to draw it out… all you do is pick what fruits you want in your fruit salad, cut them up, mix it in a bowl with vanilla yogurt and serve!
Yep… it really is that easy!
Now you can give your kids a healthy dessert without feeling guilty.
It’s also the perfect side dish to bring to a BBQ!
Now… if you want a break down of how to make a really great version of fruit salad (AKA… the one pictured above…), I will give you that now.
Here are the ingredients:
3 apples cut up into bite sized pieces
1 10oz. bag of frozen mixed berries
16 oz. of vanilla yogurt
3-4 bunches of grapes (I cut ours in half so I wouldn’t have to worry about choking)
That’s it! Put all that in a bowl, mix it up and then store it in the fridge until you want to eat it. What really great about this combination of fruits is that it turns the yogurt a nice pink color. :)
Honestly, though, I think any fruits would be great. Get creative!
