If you don’t know who Seth Godin is, I recommend you go and check out his blog (after you read this of course).
That being said, I doubt there are many reading this that have not at least heard of him and most of you have probably read his stuff too. He has an awesome blog and he is a best selling author!
Okay… you get it, right… he’s awesome!
So… on to what I learned from him.
Blog posts can be short… really short.
This is an important lesson for me because I frequently will have a thought that I would like to discuss with you all. Often times, I know that the subject won’t end up being a long post and then that stresses me out. I feel like maybe it wouldn’t be worth your time to read it.
Now that I’ve just typed that out, I can see it is a ridiculous way to think.
I don’t enjoy reading log blog posts, yet I feel I need to write them for you!??
I know where it’s coming from… other bloggers… and it’s not that they are wrong to write long posts. It’s just that it’s also not wrong to write shorter ones!
Hmmmm… okay… that’s kind of all I have… wow… so hard to stop so soon… this is going to be hard… but I think I love it.
