Only Passionate Curiosity is a website run by a fellow homeschool mom. She also happens to be a super sweet woman I got to meet back in October at a Christian blogging conference. She has created an online course just for homeschool moms called Homeschool Rescue.
Heather has a heart for helping homeschool moms whom are feeling overwhelmed with this homeschool thing. Moms who feel they aren’t good enough.
She wants to encourage you and help you get those feeling of inadequacy out of your mind!

Homeschool Rescue will help you reset.
It will help remind you why you started homeschooling the first place.
And it will help you learn how to continue to reset throughout all the years you homeschool.
There are 5 modules in this ecourse, with around 4 lessons in each one. It is designed to be completed in 60 days. Of course, you don’t have to follow that timeline. If you feel overwhelmed by completing it that quickly, then don’t. That would completely defeat the purpose of the program! Heather encourages you to take the course at your own pace.
Each of the lessons consists of a video and then a worksheet or some other “homework” for you to do. Don’t let that scare you. It doesn’t have to take a long time. You are working on your schedule with this.
There are also worksheets that go along with the lessons so you can expand on what she is talking about in the lesson.
In order to get the most out of the ecourse, you will need to do your worksheets. This time, Mom gets homework! But it’s the kind of homework that you will feel good about, so it’s worth it.
It also includes printables that will help you keep track of the things you learn in the course, as well as planners for mom and students.
AND… you get to be a part of the private Facebook community when you enroll in this ecourse. This means you have other supportive moms on this same journey with you. You all can ask each other questions and build each other up.
Homeschool Rescue for me
When I saw this was a review coming up on the crew, I really wasn’t all that interested in it. Not because it didn’t sound like a great program, but because I don’t really feel overwhelmed in my homeschool right now. I’m in a pretty good “season”. So, I figured I didn’t “need” it.
I agreed to review it because I thought it would be good to check it out to see if it was something I would want to recommend to moms I know who ARE feeling overwhelmed.
Well, just as hearing a sermon on a bible verse you’ve heard before can still impart wisdom on you, this ecourse can be helpful for all homeschool moms in all seasons.
There is always something new learn. There is always a new way to look at something. And, there is always that moment where the speaker says something that really hits home. Something you maybe didn’t even realize you were struggling with.
I definitely had a few of those “ah ha” moments while going through this ecourse.
I am not done with the course yet. I have been taking my time with it like Heather suggests. I want to make sure the ecourse doesn’t overwhelm me, because like I said before, it wouldn’t make sense to take an ecourse teaching you how to stop feeling overwhelmed if the ecourse makes you feel overwhelmed.
